During the tour we will visit the Greek tuff quarries, the Roman aqueduct and galleries, the Bourbon era tunnel, the air-raid shelters and the war museum dating back to the Second World War, the water museum and the museum of Neapolitan nativity scene.
There are two possible entrances to access underground Naples. The first starts from the entrance in Via dei Tribunali, under the noisy alleys in the heart of the historic center of Naples.
The other is that of the Bourbon Gallery which connects the Royal Palace and Piazza del Plebiscito to Piazza Vittoria, crossing the Pizzofalcone hill. A hidden path wanted by King Ferdinand IV of Bourbon to create a quick escape route for the army.
The two paths are slightly different, in both cases, once you enter, you will descend to 40 meters. depth and you can admire the old cisterns of the Carmignano aqueduct and you can relive the sensations of those who took refuge there during the Second World War.
It is recommended that you wear comfortable shoes and a sweatshirt in the summer months. Narrow paths, such as tunnels, are absolutely optional.
